The Resource Link for Community Action was created by the Prevention Research Center to provide information and practical guidance to state and community agencies and organizations, policy makers, and members of the general public who are interested in combating alcohol and other drug abuse and misuse. The materials on the web site are based on the scientific research and analysis conducted at the Center. At this web site, visitors can learn more about current and recently completed Center projects, access useful publications by Center research scientists, and review an extensive library of prevention resources.
Our list of national organizations can be utilized as a valuable resource to receive additional information on the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse. The Prevention Research Center has developed relationships with each of these organizations to assist in the dissemination of prevention information based on the scientific research conducted at the Center.
