This training program through the School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley, is located at the Prevention Research Center, Berkeley, CA. Appointments are made for two twelve-month terms, conditional on satisfactory progress and the approval of a proposal for the second year’s work. Under special circumstances a one-year program is available. Postdoctoral stipends range from $36,996 to $51,036 per year, depending upon the number of years of relevant postdoctoral experience. Opportunities exist for supplemental part-time paid employment on Center projects. A benefits program and a travel allowance are also provided to the fellows. Fellows should consult their local IRS office for information on tax obligations.
Interested applicants are asked to review the "Mentor" and "Publication" lists (both accessed from the homepage) to identify potential mentors for their postdoctoral program.
